The french part of futurama festival was always the shadow of the main belgian part and it didn’t fail to this rule this time again. Don’t ask me why I was there, I didn’t even remember! Jesus Jones looks like a fusion band mixing rap, rock and techno for the worst and the worst ... boring! The prunes were rather dark noisy pop, but again as boring as their predecessor were, even if you tried to concentrate. Boredom was total but the worst was still to come : Hoodoo gurus, Argh! The worst of boogie rock, of heavy rock, of basic rock and they played horribly loud! Deafening! I coudn’t stand it and left the room after the first so called song, followed by a quarter of the room. What noise! Even outside of the hall it was loud and agressive.
La partie française du festival belge futurama est toujours l'ombre de ce dernier et l'édition de cette année n'a pas dérogée à la règle. Ne me demandez pas pourquoi j'étais là, je ne sais même plus! Jesus jones s'apparente un peu à un groupe fusion, mellant rap, rock et techno pour le moyen et le pire ... à peine distrayant. Les prunes, famille noisy pop plutôt dark, là encore à peine distayant, même en faisant un effort. L'ennui l'emportait donc sur toute la ligne, mais le pire était à venir : Hoodoo gurus! Argh! Le boogie rock le plus primaire, le plus lourd, le plus basic que j'ai jamais entendu, et puis fort avec ça! mais foooort! Au premier morceau je n'en pouvais plus et quittais la salle pour me réfugier dans le couloir, avec un quart du public. Mais quel boucan! Même dans le couloir c'était dur.
