Crazy head were a seventies revival band, kind of hell's angels' rock, steppenwolf and easy riders lookalike. The bass player was a small and bearded fat guy with a ponytail, doing heavy metal figures with his body. Once I thought he was playing seated (ridiculous!). They made a cover of 'fortune teller' by the Stones (well well) and I just noticed one track among the others 'I travel'. The band of one song? Oh yes I forgot the bass player name was 'pork beast' (don't laugh) ... Iggy Pop remained a good showman, but even if it was strong I'm sorry to tell that apart from some highlights like 'the passenger', the gig was more one of a heavy but a really heavy metal band. The house of love's cover of 'I wanna be your dog' blew him easily. The iguana showed his dick (again) and jumped in the crowd, you know, the usual stuff... You know what? One week later there was nothing left.
Crazy head préfigure le revival seventies, en débitant un rock d' hell's angels, genre gros bataillons des Steppenwolf et autres easy riders. Le bassiste, un petit gros barbu, à queue de cheval, prend de telles poses que j'ai crû un instant qu'il jouait assit (ridicule!). Ils font une reprise de "fortune teller" des Stones (bof!) et un seul morceau se détache, "I travel". Le groupe d'un seul morceau? Ah! oui! J'oubliais! Le bassiste s'appelle pork beast (Hmmff!)...Iggy pop reste un bon showman à son âge, mais en dépit d'une pêche certaine, et il faut l'avouer, de quelques bons moments dont "the passenger", le set s'apparente plus à un espèce de hard rock mal dégrossi qu'à ce que ça devrait être. Qu'on est loin de la reprise de "I wanna be your dog" par House of love! L'iguane nous refait le coup de l'hexib (est ce vraiment encore utile?) et se jette dans le public. Sur le coup j'étais content d'avoir vu un mythe dans une petite salle, mais une semaine plus tard, il ne m'en restait plus rien.
