Marc Minelli. Seemed to have sink into pauperism, trying now to escape sinking into oblivion as so many french idols. He was alone on the stage, made a cover of 'shame on you' but remains some kind of butcher's boy, irremediably marked has been. Too much to carry on for a man alone on the stage! Silencers were simple minds' friends and well, if you didn't knew it you could hear it! Big bass 'waterfront' stylee and pounding drum beats. What was interesting was a feeling of country meets scottish trad rock meets punk with speeded accordeon and chords. A real success. The crowd was mad for it and they were called back on the stage four times for covers of 'gimme shelter' and 'comon everybody'. Still afterwards I coudn't stop myself to think that it was a bit fake.
Marc Minelli (en voie de paupérisation?), tente d'échapper à l'oubli qui a frappé certaines idoles des jeunes dans les sixties. Il joue seul, reprend "shame on you" mais reste prisonnier des syndromes garçons coiffeurs et has been, c'est beaucoup pour un seul homme! Les silencers sont des amis des simple minds et si ça ne se sait pas, eh bien ça s'entend! Grosse basse "waterfront", frappe imposant du batteur. L'originalité vient d'un rock country punk écossais avec violon et accordéon speedés et le groupe remporte un vrai succès. La salle exulte et obtient quatre vrais rappels dont une reprise des stones "gimme shelter" et d'Eddie Cochran " c'mon everybody". Pourtant après coup je ne peux m'empêcher de penser avoir assisté à un concert en toc.
